Our Challenge

The iconic Oreo biscuit comes in three layers. For generations, consumers have demonstrated many ways to enjoy Oreo biscuits. Our challenge was to creates an exclusive limited edition piece of packaging for Oreo’s fans that encompasses it’s three layers and is only available for a limited time only.

Our Idea

Drawing inspiration from Oreo’s three-layer biscuit, Unigons designed a unique three-body periscope packaging to house special edition Oreo biscuits. Embedded with three-layer lenses, the hollow packaging can be used as a working periscope to magnify the sight, allowing the consumers to look at the moon and stars during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Our Solution

Unique promotional packaging, press campaign and supported social content to drive traffic to site for the promotional offer. It is part of the Chinese festival for friends and families to gather to celebrate a year of harvest under the bright Autumn’s full moon. This unique and meaningful packaging adds to the joy of moonlight gathering and at the same time, expresses the notion that many great wonders in our universe reside in three dimensions – sky, earth and ocean.
